Freeze is an abnormal creature status.
Freeze can be caused by various things: Some creatures have an aura that freezes, it can be done by the spell prot-freeze, sometimes the MP Restriction on creatures freezes you, etc.
Freeze can be countered by the ability anti-freeze.
